I think that's great, and if you live in a part of the city that has good transit, go for it. As I said earlier, I had to go to the juvenile justice center for a meeting, TripPlanner said it would take 75 min, including a walk up & down a steep hill from Pioneer Sq. By car it took 20 min.

electric buses are superior bc they don't require fixed tracks; bus lines can be changed in response to population shifts (and fixed tracks are dangerous to cyclists whose bike wheels get caught in the tracks)

An architect I spoke with about this said that developers build to maximize profit, which means no offstreet parking. imo, the state needs to address the traffic situation by heavily investing in public transit so people can get to their destinations in reasonable amounts of time without a car.
