I’m pretty sure wool can be an all year thing especially if it’s on the thinner side. As long as you are comfy you can wear anytime you want. You can make the rules for this one, Mario.

They are! I had been avoiding getting a set for a while now. Even the Chiaogoo brand fixed circulars were not as enjoyable as this set. I always felt like I was knitting with my finger tips. The cords on the interchangeables are softer
I had a “treat yourself” moment this week and got myself a set of Chiagoo shorties. I got them hoping it would help me with my tension issues when it comes to color work socks. I actually am enjoying knitting with these rather than the fixed version I had used in the past

Second finish of the year and my first pair of socks from hand spun. The fiber is targhee dyed by Kim Dyes Yarn that I picked up last year’s MDSW. Pattern is my own vanilla socks. The three singles were plied during stream (but of course I don’t have a photo of the finished yarn). Still love them!

I’ve been a big quiet over here but it’s because we are going through a few big and exciting changes. Because of that I’m going to make one more spindle update this weekend and then some time in the next week or two I’ll be shutting down the shop until the end of the month.
My latest obsession. I forgot the name of the booth I purchased this but I got it at this year’s MD sheep and Wool. This is just a small part of a sweater spin and I can not put it down. I just started this on Monday and the Spindle is just about full!
The usual style photos will be taken of these and the listings should go up on Sunday morning. The earlier shipping day will be on Wednesday of next week.
I’m behind on my spindle update this week. So instead I’m going to list three spindles that are from a batch last year. These were on display in the shop at work. Since these are from 2024 they will be listed at $50 usd (the price for current spindles is $55.00).
I am going to get this ply done today. I got a crazy amount spun yesterday while visiting family. That means I’ll be able to ply my three turtles together soon, completing this sock spin. It also means I’ll be able to start my sweater spin this week.
This morning’s spin on our am walk was very productive. I’m spinning the last ply for my three ply sock spin. I really want to finish this and get my spindles cleared so I can start on my giant sweater spin.
