This is fascinating.
I love SirPterry's comment about information on the internet in the future, and knowing what's truth and what's not -
"It will be a good time to be a librarian."

Is this the latest edition of the rules too?
I'd definitely be interested, what point size are you playing?
Some awesome made to order LotR models coming next month including my favourite Gandalf model. Might have to dig out some of my copies of these classics and paint a few more up

Thanks! I tried a couple of space marine legions as Stormcast and these and the Night Lords were my favourites but the Ultramarines just edged ahead because they worked so well on the Stormcast models, and they are such an iconic Warhammer colour scheme.
Its a bit early for March for Macragge but I am back painting my Avenging Sons Stormhost for a bit. Getting the exact right shade of blue is more tricky than I expected.

Finished the first two members of my new Blood Bowl team, the Lyonnesse Lancer. Sir Boderick the thrower and his faithful squire, Colin.

Been quite a productive and varied year, albeit I don't think I finished any of the armies I had planned.
I've been trying to pick a favourite project from this year out of all the stuff I painted and whilst I really like the Spyrers, I think the Lord of the Rings project was my fave.

Just popping to do some last minute Christmas shopping at Jangles And Things. Hope it's not too late!
Now up to 11 points. I've decided to donate an amount to charity equal to my final score. Might be my new Christmas tradition.

George Michael looking the boss in a still from the video for Last Christmas with a border of holly and the word Whamageddon written across the photo
I'm playing reverse whamageddon this year (given the song raises approx ยฃ300,000 for charity in royalties each year, it seems a bad idea to avoid it).
How many times can you unintentionally hear the song out and about, on the radio etc? Highest score wins!

This 2nd edition scheme looks SO good on Deathleaper!!
Oh wow, love that classic old school 2nd edition scheme. It looks so good!
Does anyone else do the thing when they're reading a book series for the first where they mentally flag their favourite parts so that when they come back and re-read it in a few years they can just focus on those bits and skim the rest?
A beefy Ogryn in a blue hood with a massive hooked scythe and a warrior with a two handed sword, in blue armour and rags, with a flaming helmet
The noble squire Patsy, ready to aid his lord in the quest for the holy grail
The back of the same Patsy, showing a broad expanse of pale flesh and the same blood soaked scythe
The bold warrior Sar Pellenor, with his holy two handed great sword, his grail heraldry on display and his flaming helmet ablaze!
Sar Pellenor and his noble squire Patsy finished and ready to lead my Cawdor gang in the quest for the Holy Grayle!

I couldn't keep the DVD in my collection. I just knew I wouldn't be able to watch it again.
One of the only films to properly scare me. I had trouble riding the underground late at night after this!
If you've not seen it, think The Descent in the London Underground.
A flexible aluminium tube coming out of the eaves of a roof to a bucket with a flip lid duct taped on it hinged on one side.
You need a squirrel trap like this one my friend invented!
