would definitely recommend the trigun Madhouse made back in the day if you haven't watched it, it holds up really well. Honestly goes toe to toe with classics like Bebop

Stampede somehow makes every character except for arguably 1 the worst version of themselves and it is honestly kindof incredible

for reference, Blood Blockade is in my top 6 anime of all time, Trigun is in my top 20

Not gonna lie, this was a IP I mostly slept on my entire childhood so I never saw it; would I need knowledge of any of the shows in order to follow along with the movie?

I should probably look into more Hosoda projects. Shoutout to Eyepatch Wolf for making my brother interested in this project and being the impetus for us finally picking it from the library to watch.
