Thanks Blair!
I think there will another call in 2026. It's a really nice launcher to foster Horizon Europe type applications!
Really excited to be awarded a British council UK-Germany Springboard grant!
Exciting times ahead as a UK cohort featuring the labs of myself and Ines Castro and @jollylab.bsky.social will launch trips and research meetings to build a collaboration with @marinalusic.bsky.social in CIID Heidelberg.
I was invited by @focalplane.bsky.social to write a short description about it:

One battle after another, Sinners and Weapons were all really good. Frankenstein was fun too. Agree that TV was far better in 2025.
Really enjoying #EESNucleus day one!
Great to be back in @embl.org
Starting today: @events.embl.org #EESNucleus
Make sure to say Hi to our editor @hvodermaier.bsky.social and discuss your latest work with him!
📢 Join us next week for our mini-symposium with the membrane trafficking webinar series
Featuring talks from @nickader.bsky.social, @maiblab.bsky.social and Mónica Quiñones-Frías, and a keynote lecture from Gillian Griffiths @griffithslab.bsky.social.
Great to see this in the wild!

I'll be there!
Really excited to be back in my home away from home, Berlin, for my first conference in Germany:
"Life at the Edge: The nuclear envelope in nucleocytoplasmic transport and genome organisation"
Really looking forward to it!
Come work at Nature Methods! A dream job. I know from experience 😄
Hyped to be moving to the Blizard Institute @qmul.bsky.social in the Autumn.
As part of an exciting new development in infection research within the Blizard, I’ll be a Group Leader, Academic Lead of the Blizard Advanced Light Microscopy (BALM) Facility and soon take up a Senior Lectureship.
Hugely excited to work with this!
This was a lot of fun!
Great to be back in my Alma Mater.
Great to see this out! And very fitting the last publication from my PhD is in a @microbiologysociety.org journal. Who played a significant role in supporting my EARLY early career!
I cannot believe I didn't post about dark sectioning! I can only blame my crazy travel schedule. Check out this amazing tool for background removal in fluorescence microscopy. An important new concept, not 'just another' denoising algorithm.
Would love that join!
Really great talk by @melghazaly.bsky.social from @towerslab.bsky.social in #CSH #Retroviruses !
Yesterday, @mattvxwhelan.bsky.social gave a fantastic talk! Thanks for all the engaging questions and all the great science chat afterwards! #cshretro
It was a huge honour to speak today in the beautiful locale of Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, NY. At an epic post entry events session on the 50th anniversary of #CSH #Retroviruses
Can't wait for this!
Our latest preprint list is now up on FocalPlane. Our list this week is focusses on research using 🔬microscopy tools to answer questions in biology.
As always, please let us know if there are other preprints that you’d like to see included.
