Itβs so wonderful to see this! And I love your sock blockers!
I just finished it last night. Really enjoyed it!
January reading stats. A good reading month overall #booksky ππ
For me it was It Ends with Us (first and only book by that author; never again)
It took me a while to feel ready for it (I bought it as soon as it came out) so totally understand this!
Compound Fracture is an in-depth exploration of identity, community, family, and the horrors experienced by those who donβt fit the norm. Miles, a trans young man, confronts the long-held prejudices against his family. Will he perpetuate the violence or find a way to break free? #booksky ππ
I love The Gilded Wolves! Hope you enjoy it!
Great choice! This was my favorite book I read in 2023! Hope you love it!
I was planning to read my print copies but now I think Iβll try the audiobooks. Thanks for sharing this info!
I'm co-captaining PLY's S-Twist team for Spin Together with Jillian Moreno. Sign ups for teams start tomorrow. We'd love to have you join us!
You can learn more about Spin Together, a week-long online spinning event, on their website: www.spintogether.org which is also where you can sign up!
Reading For the Wolf. One character is bone weary after fighting corruption (physical rot) alone for so long. Someone who can help comes along and heβs resistant. But the fight ultimately is easier with help. Same for us. Youβre not alone. We are fighting with you and we can beat back the corruption
On Friday evening, I got to hear R.F. Kuang being interviewed as part of a literary festival. She is such a brilliant, thoughtful, and funny person. I can't wait for her new book coming later this year! #booksky ππ #booktok
Thank you! I was able to find quite a few more of the accounts I want to follow here because of this list. Really appreciate it!
It makes me not want to go back. I hate to lose the community but this just makes me feel so sick that I canβt even look at the app right now.
Sounds like exactly what Iβm in the mood for
Finished The Teller of Small Fortunes and although itβs an excellent cozy fantasy, Iβm just not into that mood right now. I think Iβm entering a grimdark era. So, book suggestions? (Fantasy and science fiction) #booksky
Current read: The Teller of Small Fortunes
Wanted something a little lighter after the previous read. About a third through and enjoying it so far.
Also eager to try out my new teapot.
Finished The Trials of Empire by Richard Swan. A solid ending to the trilogy (though a little slow on the pacing in the first half). Recommended for those who like epic fantasy #booksky πππͺ
Reading The Trials of Empire by Richard Swan. A fantasy book that feels so relevant to our own world.
My lap is a little fullβ¦ but Iβm getting in some good reading time. Current read: The Tyranny of Faith by Richard Swan
Hereβs to an excellent reading year for us both!
And my 2024 reading wrap up. Overall Iβm happy with my reading year and read some amazing books. But letting my mood reading completely take over did lead to some disappointments and very little reading some months. This year Iβm going to try more of a TBR plan again #booksky πππͺ
December reading wrap up πππͺ
Ooh! I love hearing that the second book is so good. Second books seem to be either really good or just so-so.
Really enjoyed The Justice of Kings so had to start the second book right away (I got books 2 and 3 as holiday gifts) #booksky πͺππ
I second To Shape a Dragonβs Breath. Such a good book!
