Herzlichen Dank!
I got a certificate for counting birds! This will go on my CV for sure :) @birdlifeglobal.bsky.social @birdlife.at What a beauty. I am in love #Birds #wintervogelzΓ€hlung

It is quite sad that they are associated with Frontiers. I ignore all journals from Frontiers, including this one, even though I am sure they are great.
It has been recorded for sure.
This was really helpful and very informative! Thank you so much for this talk.
Since last year (with many thanks to @epronizius.bsky.social!), I have been part of the 'Many Social Minds' community: a group of ECRs who want to better understand the current state of social cognition research, its key challenges, and its future directions. JOIN US: manysocialminds.univie.ac.at
It was sooo much fun!!!
honestly, i dont know what to feel. What is our goal? To push science forward, right? If a tool CAN TELL ME WHERE THE GAP IS, is it a bad thing? however, if all researchers "find the same gap", the whole process makes no sense anymore. Then we should change finding process all together
Welcome to Austria!!! Come to Vienna for a visit :)

Are you a #Psychology grad student/ECR in the US who wants to do more rigorous research? This meeting is for you! SIPS is hands-on and often referred to as "my favorite conference" by people who've been. Travel grants + reg. fee waivers are available. Submit a session & RT to help spread the word!
We are currently collecting data from ~25 countries and are still seeking collaborators to either collect data or donate data collections in other countries, in exchange for becoming co-authors on the project. #PsychSciSky #SocialPsyc #Fatigue #Morality
Beautiful #Austria
My happy place <3
Same!! Not only this, but also no online lectures if given a choice between an online class and in-person
π£ Registration for both online and in-person SIPS 2026 is officially open!!!π£
SIPS 2026 is an action-oriented meeting aimed at improving psychological science.
The conference sessions will focus on:
β¨Initiating and conducting projects,
β¨Learning new skills,
β¨Discussing new ideas.
Oh wow, tolle Idee. Schade, dass ich nicht diese zufΓ€llige Person werde, haha. #Prost π»
Happy New Year! Muss es wirklich sein? .... #BanFireworks #Feuerwerk
#banFireworks 2025 is close to an end. Letβs just let it pass by.
For many wild animals, fireworks can be a death sentence. They get scared & run against windows / buildings in panic. This has nothing to do with celebrating.
Pls be mindful of those who cannot speak but share this earth w/ you. #2026
You donβt speak German? I hear you! Here is the English open-access version: osf.io/preprints/ps...
"The Neural Basis of Empathy in Borderline Personality Disorder - a Review."
On a sidenote: Was I, as a moderator of OSF, allowed to accept my own preprint? Nope π No shady business here!
I was told that I have decisioned over 1,700 preprints this year! π±Moderators, including myself, are driven by our commitment to making science better. This means staying vigilant against AI-generated spam & allowing researchers around the world to share their work openly.
Pls support PsyArXiv!
You rock, Emma!!! What a great initiative.
