Great FaceKit game by the #upit community!
We just watched someone scream at their screen to surf—crying 😂
You’re Poseidon! 🌊 Control waves with your voice! Too high? Seagull smack. 🦅 Too low? Rock crash.💥

That’s going to become a arms race. First steps on your end could be:
* Add a checksum to the save data that only you know how to generate
* Make the JSON data is formatted in some specific and restricted way.
Although as long as all logic is on the client it’s hackable.
Quite short - compared to the heat death of the universe…
Oh no the cone of shame, what did we do?
This! But actually making the game #gamedev
I am 100% sure there are monsters down there!
Looks so fun, I assume this is multiplayer?
Any chance of a web playable export?
I am in awe over the amount of power ups you have implemented. They just keep coming!
Oh I am aware, I did a sneak peak to see how it was made as well. GJ! As stated I am a huge fan of browser games, something my entire carrier is centered around, with the latest iteration of that being upit.com (Shameless self promotion)
I have joined!
The ding sound rings make when they drop in Diablo II
Honestly I am way more likely to play / pay on web than steam.
No idea what you are talking about? (Warning flashing)
Absolutely my pleasure! The game clearly has strong foundations and is exactly the kind of experience I’d enjoy playing.
A roguelike approach feels like a great direction for its development.
Video of orbs issue.
All that said, this has been a truly enjoyable experience, and I’m excited to see how it evolves over time.
I’ve always been a big fan of web-playable games, and this is no exception!
Suggestions:
* Experiment with blend modes to make particles more dynamic.
* Add environmental progression for a more engaging experience.
Annoyances/Bugs #2:
* Treasure chest upgrades overlay is confusing and visually inconsistent.
* Orbs sometimes fail to collect.
* Enemies occasionally get stuck in walls.
* Game lags over time.
* Chest spawn rates are time-based, making it easy to exploit and become overpowered.
Annoyances/Bugs #1:
* Keyboard state resets on the power-up screen.
* XP isn’t always absorbed (intentional?).
* Assets are very low resolution.
* Monster pathfinding can be exploited (see video).
* Control scheme instructions are outdated.
Just played this for 20 minutes, and now I am so overpowered I don't think I can die 😅
Feedback:
* Large monsters should have a health bar.
* The yellow XP nodes are confusing; consider making them green and smaller.
* Game balance needs adjustment; the player quickly becomes too overpowered.
Screenshot of analytics from Upit.com shows that my games have now reached 500k plays in total.
Just reached 500,000 plays of my games on Upit.com!

The game is using too much memory and crashes as a result. I think you can mitigate that as a developer yourself, but it's a pain to debug.
Looking forward to see how you manage to make a solo ttrpg relatively simple?
Does it work? And it so who cares?
