I think @itsbabs.bsky.social has a connection to LA mask block.
Jimmy Pesto & Jeremy Jamm would be friends.

Pretty easy to get low numbers when you stop counting them.

Sometimes you get rolled, sometimes you do the rolling.
Sending out the signal.
Otherwise, you might be surprised to learn in the very near future that for you during covid is now.
Help us normalize masking. Clean air standards, akin to the clean water standards that we already have in place.
Help us fight for better treatments and therapies for our impacted brothers and sisters.
So if you're still using the term during covid, please reconsider. While you're at it, consider joining our cause.
Remember, these are just the cases that are getting caught. Many people have given up testing, masking, or taking any precautions altogether, meaning the expected caseload is significantly higher.
You become dismissive of the folks who are still battling the disease and the folks who are still getting infected every single day.
You become a part of the eugenics movement.
You become someone who is helping accelerate the spread of fascism.
Don't say during covid when you're referring to the emergency response phase of the pandemic.
The words you say have power. When you choose to use the past tense to describe things that are very much still happening, you become complicit in propagating the spread of this mass disabling event.
During covid is still right now.
I bet you it's not over for the estimated four hundred million people worldwide suffering from the devastating effects of long covid.
As recently as this summer it wasn't over, as a new variant, nicknamed Razor Blade Throat has emerged.
It wasn't over in May of 2023 when
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus officially announced the end of the global health emergency immediately preceding another spike.

It didn't end in September of 2022 when Biden said the pandemic was over & nobody's wearing masks and we're doing alright, despite plenty of people still masking and levels nowhere near baseline levels.
Because it sure wasn't on April 10th, 2022, when Biden declared the emergency response of the pandemic over.
For the people who use the term during covid, can you please tell me when exactly covid ended? 1/
Reminder that in 2021, Senate Republicans filibustered a bill that would have banned partisan gerrymandering of congressional districts.
Keep on truckin
