A small experiment with visual feedback in Unity. Basically, sending your main camera output to a render texture that you apply to objects in the world gives you all sorts of interesting visual effects.

I've been working on foliage for my art museum project. I finally created some pine trees and began experimenting with Unity's terrain system.
A terrifically interesting talk by Cory Doctorow about current opportunity to build a future with digital sovereignty and an enshittification-resistant internet. Seize the means of computation indeed.

Added my first active ability upgrade! This is coming along nicely.
This is how I've set up 3D UI objects in my Unity game:
I'm incredibly happy with how these models look with the shader I wrote! The items you choose from are supposed to be something like digital schematics that you can select and print, then implant into your player body.

Bayer dithering with a larger scale makes everything look extra crunchy.
I'm able to create some really interesting structures and environments for my game Fungivore. Very surreal to explore.
I've just uploaded my first devlog for my open-world procedural game Fungivore!

The #HugoAward for Best Game or Interactive Work goes to Caves of Qud.
I've published an prototype version of my virtual art museum project. This will be where I display all the art that I'm proud of. It's quite small at the moment, but I'll update it over time. I'll eventually have a sprawling multimedia experience, with mini-games, scavenger hunt, secrets rooms...
Oh, I love this! What's your approach?
Next step will be actually writing all of the biome generation algorithms...

Somehow, not surprised that you rate Nope so highly. Was an astonishing movie.

I've tried a number of approaches for simple performant tentacles, and I like Unity's cloth

This is a phenomenal examination of some of the long term implications of our progressing machine intelligence.

Woodcut and graphite rubbing print. First time trying the medium, it's very demanding and rewarding. Would be much easier with proper tools.
My little art museum in Unity is coming along, I've started adding more interactive elements.

For me, I think it's the greatest game I've ever played. So incredibly beautiful.
You've misquoted. I only spoke for myself.
Funnily, you overstep in the selfsame way you accuse. There's no way of knowing for sure that other art has had a deeper impact on people, haha. Of course, I'd agree that it's almost certainly true.
I'm excited to experience them all. I want to 100% this game, which isn't something I've ever cared about before.
I genuinely was filled with actual resolve.
I've died more ways than I can count. I'd highly recommend playing roleplay, and sticking with it to the end. It's breathtaking.
