P. much yeah, which is a huge shame! It's so good and the conceit of it being a pseudo-period piece also adds a lot to giving it a unique feel, almost as much as the Syd Mead designs.
The fact the whole thing smacks of gender probably also helps.

The fact that all of the new mobile suits - from the Brave all the way up to the 00 Qan[T] herself- are slick as hell also helps. As does Final Mission - Quantum Burst. Love it when that song plays.
I know Gundam 00 has a lot of problems, *especially* in the second season but... I don't really care. In a franchise that is (excessively and unfairly) know for at best bitter sweet endings, I just ADORE how unabashedly hopeful and optimistic A Wakening of the Trailblazer is.
Jokes on you! I have a Goblin With A Fat Ass living in my brain 24/7!
Metro 2033, while near and dear to my heart, Is certainly the one in the most tenuous position.
In hindsight, if I made this when I was less groggy, then it's spot probably would have gone to the classic Marathon Trilogy. Oh well.
I know I am a nobody but, screw it, this *does* look pretty fun so.

Speaking as a Canadian, neither Canada nor the US should have ever existed, and I can only hope that I live to see a world where justice is finally served for all the brutality and bloodshed that was committed for the sake of proping them up.
I know that this has been said before, but itβs worth repeating: there cannot and will not be world peace while the country that calls itself in the United States of America exist in its current form.
As much as the ghouls and cowards in charge of the world - and those who enable them - wish otherwise, a better world is inevitable.
I do not have faith in god, but I do have faith in the power of love and compassion, and the drive to do better. For the sake of all of us.
There is SO MUCH goodness, kindness, and love out there that disproves that this is what Humanity *truly* looks like. And if it *were*, we would NEVER have gotten this far, we would never have built communities.
By their nature they are unsustainable - wether by alienating the masses to the tipping point or by rotting the societies that host them to the point of collapse.
What's more, the excesses that lead to these systems come from humanity, but I don't think they are innate to human nature.
The ferocity and sheer barbarity of these mounting crimes against humanity and human life reeks of desperation as much as it does greed and raw cruelty. These systems of exploitation, of racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, all of it are fundamentally doomed to die.
The anger, the frustation, the fear and concern for those who I have never met, who never deserved ANY of this, these are good. The apathy? That's garbage.
Despite everything, I still firmly believe that a better world is possible. Possible and far closer than it ever feels.
Every day I wake up and I see five different things that make me viscerally disgusted with the world. The abuse, the lies, the pointless death and starvation and exploitation. My heart fucking shatters time and time again. I question why I bother persisting.
Then I take a deep breath.
*sigh* and now I'm once again wishing I lived in the world of The Venture Bros.
Sure it's kind of shitty, but at least I'd be able to sign up with the Guild of Calamitous Intent and not only *do things* about that in a campy way, but I'd actually get benefits for it too.
Like dental.

I mean, I'm certain there is going to be a subset of Pokemon Fans that *will* 100% take it as genuine and serious slight, so
From what i've seen it seems less like genuine beef and moreso IGN making a self-flaggelating joke about the old OR/AS review and the guy running Pokemon's social media account joining in with some light ribbing.
Unless of course I have missed a few messages.

With a smile on her lips she explains "The [Manga] I'm reading currently takes place in a fictional kingdom known as France." There is a young man behind her with palpable confusion on his brow.
Reasons we love SMT #238
Welp. I just played myself and got talked into figuring out how to set up SMT 1 so I can play through it with a Metamour.
