Bandai 1/72 X-wing cockpit
Bandai 1/72 X-wing cockpit
Greebles fit test being done on the 1/35 ISAF merkava. Given how poor FCU is portrayed in Ace Combat 8 it really isn't a big stretch to see them using Merkava mk1 during operation bunker shot lol
Thanks! It is Gundam real touch markers, Mr weathering color and oil paint!
Doing more work on the 1/144 kotobukiya Ace Combat CFA-44 #scalemodeling
Right??? I suck at model building... I am actually more of a painter so this is amazing for me!!!
1/48 scale Jaguar GR1 ejection seat by art scale kit
Thanks! This is actually new insight I gained from this project in the sense that the size of scratches and splatter really cue you in on scale cause we all subconsciously know how big splatters and droplets should be...
Jegan weathering wip
WIP of my master grade jegan, guess aircraft markings don't look out of place on Gundam mechs lol
1/72 Tamiya F-16C painted up as PJ's jet, close to finishing but not quite done...
WIP on the 144 scale kotobukiya ace combat nosferatu
Yea, I was very selective with what to wipe, as for gunk wash, maybe, that's probably it. I don't have name for everything rip
Pooling would always occur, for panel lining you always have to wipe the excess off after the wash is dried
Yes, the panel lines is a mix of gray and brown stain actually. This is a closer shot.
WIP before vs after
My backlog as of end of 2024, image on the right is projects in progress...
Weathering up the ISAF aggressor F-35A
1/35 tanks have so many smol parts
Recent backlog acquisition, I am in danger...
Swing wing weathering effect with Gundam real touch markers
Today's progress
Weathering the F-14A up, I have some parts painted gray to suggest parts from a low-vis gray F-14 were used for repair work...
Slowly working through the weapon bay. Did some painting and doing some dry fits.
With panel wash vs without. I used several different panel wash colors to keep it visually interesting. Black was mainly used the area where I want the cable to be in focus.
Painted the base color for the tamiya 1/48 f-35a interior. For the color, very little pure white was used, yellow primer was used as base/shadow, insignia white was used as mid tone and pure white was used very sparingly as highlight. Also insert praise for tamiya engineering here.
Putting the decal in, I also included the nose art even tho it is inaccurate because plamo is freedom and my inner 3 year old always wanted an f-14 like this.
Temporarily assembled the jet for a fit test, the project is progressing pretty well...I will probably take a hiatus from it after the decal work because by that time the weather is probably not suitable for spraying clear coat...
Almost ready for weathering and decal work. The red stripes took more tries than it should...
Brought a used Ikea cabinet for nerd stuff, still need to clean it up but it looks much better than what I had.
