Having spent time in the company of Gary Downie and JNT, I can tell you it’s exactly the same energy. And hunting pattern.
It was immediately spotted by my highly amused father on original broadcast in 1984, and so I was delighted to see it again at the weekend - a good foot high - on the screen of NFT1.
The conversation stemmed from my pondering the question of whose thumb is seen sticking out of the Myrka at the end of part three of Warriors of the Deep.

I think Mawdryn pulls its threads together well - if you’re young and the trick of it is new. But it’s all about that moment and has to vamp endlessly until it’s allowed to get there.
