Worth watching the whole clip, but purely in propaganda terms it seems to me, admittedly just an amateur observer when it comes to war fighting, that it may be useful to send the message to the 91+ million Iranian civilians that we are not trying to kill them.
Sad fact: when crude prices spike (as they are doing now due to Trump's insane war), the price of gasoline at the pump rises almost instantly even though that gas was produced with cheaper crude bought months ago.
When crude prices fall, gas prices will stay high until the cheaper oil is refined.
It takes real galaxy brains to mass cancel solar and wind projects and then start a pointless unpopular war that sends oil prices soaring.
