It's definitely heavier on the slasher tropes and Silent Hill influence, but there are many nods to Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass!

That's what I'm kind of angling for right now. I still owe over $3000 on this car but anything I can get for it helps ;w; I have heard that some dealerships will just absorb whatever you have left on your old loan into the new one, so I wouldn't have to try to pay two loans off at once.

The sound of a wave, much closer than the radio speakers, caught Azzie's attention. Eureka sat on the other end of the couch, quietly reading a book. He swept his foot back and forth across the carpet in time with the album. Azzie stretched out his own foot and gently tapped Eureka's leg with the tip of his toe. When he didn't get a reaction, he did it again, holding it there this time. Eureka turned the page of his book, paying no mind. Azzie stretched out his foot even more, pushing Eureka's leg. The longer the moment stretched on with no response, the harder Azzie pushed. Soon, he couldn't press any harder, and had to uncurl so he could get into a better position. Once he abandoned the safety of the blanket, Eureka tapped Azzie's nose with one finger. Azzie squeaked and covered his nose with his hands, eyes screwed shut, only to peek them open again when he realized there was no pain. Eureka was smiling, a spark of humor in his eyes. Azzie didn't know how to respond. He flicked one ear, then the other. He didn't know if it was okay for him to attack back, but he didn't want to curl up in defense. There was no need to protect himself; Eureka wouldn't hurt him.

Despite my stress and exhaustion, I keep writing!
This was always one of my favorite little moments from Cloudless Rain. Let them bond.

Sorry it isn't writing related, but it IS impacting my writing because it's draining all of my motivation. I can't work when I'm stressed out like this, even though writing is something that brings me joy, and it becomes a feedback loop of misery and burnout. bleeegh.

A2: My car has decided, once again, to have an issue that will cost roughly $2500 to fix. On top of the $2000 I already spent this year, that would be more than the car is worth...so I'm looking to try and trade it in and get a new (used) car. I was SO close to paying it off!!! So that's stressful.

A3: I got my gecko for the classroom! Thanks to class parent funding, I will be able to get some of the money I spent back. I'm holding onto that positive to get me through how awful the rest of this year has been. The students are SO excited about a class pet; their enthusiasm fuels me!

I don't know if this counts exactly but it's kind of a joke--in a sense--that in ALiCE, Abel is just...not supposed to exist? He's literally not supposed to be there. No one really knows why he's there. No one ever sees him. He has no scenes. But he does exist. Like a glitch.

I think genAI is bad at what it does and bad for the people who use it, but that’s at best secondary to why I oppose it.
