This population deserves treatment and protection, not further stigmatization and profit extraction.

For-profit sober living is wildly under-regulated & I’ve lived the consequences. I paid to be held “accountable” for my disease - but mostly it exploited the fact that I was sick & poor & could be easily exploited for free labor (to “offset” rent) under the guise of recovery.
