I think it reveals the main goal of the c-suite in pursuing genAI is to increase labor precarity. The ability to fire untold numbers of workers because of AI, even if the AI isn't working, is enough.

One of the reasons I distrust GenAI is that I've been doing tech support in one form or another for 35+ years, and I've seen every way that tech can be misused, break, or behave outside of expectations; GenAI ticks every 'uh-oh' box for me.
