I spoke with @CNN's Zain Asher about the casual misogyny of the Epstein files. Beyond criminal abuse, there was another harm: reinforcing male-dominated networks of money & power. The problem wasn’t access to him—it was women’s exclusion from opportunities those networks controlled.
“All the doctors you pay directly keep you well informed about my ‘treatments,’” a woman wrote to Epstein. She did not want the same to happen with a “shrink” she was planning to see. Epstein dismissed her concerns. The doctors, he told her, “take the time to make sure im happy.”
Epstein connected doctors with his powerful friends in business and politics and used them to manipulate young women from overseas who were having sex with him. He directed women to get pelvic exams, liposuction, mole removals & to use his "shrink."

I visited Tunisia in 2007 (before Arab Spring). There were humongous pictures of their dictator-President Ben Ali on the sides of buildings everywhere, as well as smaller pictures inside of business. I thought that could never happen in America.
