Priest of Bones, by @petemc666.bsky.social, is an excellent grimdark novel that I deeply regret not having read before; Tomas Piety might be one of my favourite main characters in a time, especially because of how deeply complex he is.

I was in the city office today. Mid-afternoon I fancied a snack, so I went to the office campus coffee shop to get one. They do not take cash, at all. Strictly card only. The delicious stupity of having to use a Platinum credit card to buy a 90p KitKat has kept me smiling for the rest of the day.
