Out today in Nature, our paper on the drivers of the record 2023 summer heating of the North Atlantic. Temperatures warmed to record levels in just a few months. Thanks, Simon. I agree that the political ecology of SSF regarding not just other fisheries, but also tourism, conservation, offshore energy, aquaculture is a huge issue. Also agree regarding figure 4 :)
Most conservation initiatives require changes in human behavior. Insights from behavioral science may help bridge that gap.
