Earliest memory of using the internet was some website with a tamagotchi style game where you take care of a dolphin. Amazing how invested you could get into a still image of a dolphin and pressing buttons that says you fed it.

If you see this, post a robot.
Everyone posting #WhatAGameDevLooksLike looks so cool.
A screenshot of the JPL Spatial Application showing a sound source and listener and a visual representation of which speakers in a 9.1.6 Surround system are activated by how much.
This is way out of my skill zone but a good friend of mine has built is own open source Spatialize Library and a Visual Application as well to showcase it's capabilities. Super cool to pull in sound files to listen in different speaker configurations and pan's / flybys. github.com/Jaytheway/JP...
Do it, goes with your username too. I was Lucid dreaming thinking: Man this dream is so cool haha.
There was a leader demon in a white suit and a big mark on his face and he chases after Michael, his mum and guitarist Ola Englund. I guessing Michael sacrifices himself to save his family and friends and becomes the new leader.
I had an amazing dream I was watching the movie Michael Jackson was watching in Thriller. Woke up before the end but it was pretty good, they're not zombies they're like some sort of demons that look normal and suddenly shift undead in the moonlight. Like Michael does when he starts dancing.

I have enjoyed writing articles for my blog over the winter, all about field recording birds. All were developed over a few months and this will be the last for a while. Iβll be in the field from this point forwards, honing my ability to listenβ¦
I hope you scare kids like Dr. Grant with that necklace.
In Buddhism it said to look inwards and fix yourself before trying to fix others.
At this point the US really isn't much different than their so called evil enemies in West Asia. Shitty people in power with shitty ideas and beliefs ruining the lives of lovely ordinary people.
Had a look today, there seems to be a lot of re-releases for some reason.
Trying to watch a film in a cinema in Mumbai (at least) is such a frustrating experience. There's hardly anything playing, where anything is playing theaters locations are spread across the whole city and there's just one or two screenings in the day at odd times like 10:00am or 11:00pm. #DesiWatch
Nearly got in an accident on my cycle trying to keep time tapping my fingers to the beat listening to Meshuggah.
Very cool initiative, hope all goes well.
Graphic that says "South Asian Gamedev Meetup - GDC '26 - Wednesday - 1 PM - 3:30 PMM - Waterfall @ Yerba Buena Gardens"
A group photo of South Asian gamedevs posing together in a garden

I squeezed in time on a day off to deliver a mix for a short film in between shooting a feature, director added a new shot that needed foley. Reformer + Weaponiser helped get it done. It's a fun "texturizer".
Now with AI, a quick google search with as little specific details as possible to prove the point that their right.

Poster for the film Hagazussa. A Skull in the middle with decorative leaves and flowers drawn around the cranium resting on bush of leaves. In the background is a foggy wooded forest in the mountains.
This film is beautiful darkness. I loved how quiet and slow it is. Get to really take in the visuals and sounds makes you feel like you're there. I love movies that have a vibe you want to revisit, this is one of them.
Yeah this was Day 1 of the shoot. I was only on the film for a few days here and there in between filming.
Film set with 2 female actors and camera operator in the foreground and a man holding a boom mic on the right.
Edge of my whiskers.
Watched Avatar Fire & Ash in 4DX for the first time.
100% don't recommend watching anything with that.
A plastic packet filled with tiny multi coloured beans. Known as Mukhwas.
So that's what they're called? Since I was a kid my parents always called them "Chooha ka laindi" which means "rat turds" and I thought that's actually what they're called.
I'd go to the cashier at restaurants asking for rat turds to freshen my breath.
Worked a few shoot days on this film. Would've loved to have been on the whole project. Fun cast and crew. #DesiWatch youtu.be/UmW7El0TrV4?...
Every now and again you realise how silly filmmaking is and we get paid for it.
Shooting an intense scene today with a seated crowd of extras. Finished a take, after watching the playback, the 1st AD comes out yelling: "Guys stop falling asleep during the take!"

Cat standing balanced on the middle frame of a bicycle.
This stray cat at work does this cute thing where it tries to kill me by running between my legs to reach the bottom of the stairs before me, waits till my foot to land below the last step then pounces on my leg.
He also wants to ride my cycle.
image of the 12 horns used for the two-track release of HELL'S ANGELS
As far as my research was concerned, this was the 1st time a H'wood film played with 2 audio channels. One track (dialogue music and effects) played through 3 horns behind the center of the screen. The other track (more effects) played through 9 more horns above and to the sides of the main horns.
Editor told me: we just need 3 sounds it will take 10 minutes. Edit had no ambience, no foley, multiple perspectives of fireworks going off, production sound was unusable camera mic audio. "10 minutes" = 2hrs+
Wishing you and your family the same.
