Two white nationalists I exposed in a recent article showed up to try to intimidate me in person last night.

This is a press freedom issue.

Here’s what happened:

Journalism would be a lot cooler if folks would try.

Tonight, two of the white nationalists I reported on in this piece showed up to attempt to intimidate me on a private night out at a small music venue.

I’ll have more to say tomorrow. I’m safe.

They also didn’t pay cover 🖕

I’ve unmasked a white nationalist fight club in my city: Montreal.

After weeks of work (with help!), I can reveal an Olympian as a member of the Frontenac Active Club — one who, unbeknownst to the owners, brought them to a local gym for training and propaganda photos.

Here’s my investigation:

Oh wow! You're getting your Conan fix FOR REAL! I got the first 69 issues of SSoC about 6 months back so I'll drive into those after vol 4 of the colour book. Continue on with my boy Roy!

I'm looking forward to these stories. I'm wrapping up omni vol 3 and vol 4 is in the mail.

Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads:

The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you.

And our governments are very much the same...

Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

Great video sir. I agree wholeheartedly. Anything less than an honest attempt at establishing something is just performative at best.

It seems to me that one uses the success of other titles to uplift others and allow them to grow into something.

He probably mistakes the two Bush's as well.

Facts! He's got a story with Ivan Gil (Scourge of the Serpent game) in the upcoming Savage Sword.

I really hope he decides to stay after his 50 issue context ends.

You said it sir! I just really hope Conan doesn't eliminate him by the end of this arc.

Hopefully it's a defeat so we can have him come back. But I do trust Jim Zub

What did you think of issue 29 of Conan? I really like and appreciate that they left out Conan to let the villain's origin breath.

A lesser author may have panicked and shoe horned him in.

It's a very strange form of delusion to be so myopic to what's actually a threat.

Last time I checked it wasn't Muslims disappearing and murdering people in the streets. Or destroying the global economy. Or starting new wars.

It's always projection. They fear exactly what they do.

Issue 29 of Conan the Barbarian did something really special. No spoilers, but the characterization and deep dive into Hyborian age psyche, hasn't been seen since the Frozen Faith arc (13-16).

I truly appreciate @jimzub.bsky.social taking risks to elevate the story.

Damn! As Conan fans we are EATING! I am particularly excicte for your story with Ivan Gil!

Seeing this, I can understand why there is a pause on the monthly book.

Only so many hours in the day. 🫣

Thanks for this. You really changed the way I read books. I would often "say" the words louder in my head. 🫣🤣

Ah ok. And when you do want certain words bolded. What do you want the reader to take away from those choices?

For instance, when I see these bolded words I emphasize them in my head as I read. Is that the intention or is it more subtle?

26.02.2026 01:46 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Amazing intro for a villain. You can really feel the cosmically induced psychosis of it all.

I was always curious about the bolded words in text boxes and I noticed your underlines in the script.

How is one to properly read those lines? Is it to emphasize or is it mentally louder?

Looking forward to this. I read your blog post about the issue and with our spoiling anything, I'm really proud of you for pushing the boundary and take the risk.

And that's not to be patronizing in anyway. We need folks to challenge us and keep Conan fresh.

Keep it up!✊🏽

Cannibal Corpse wrote a song about it, "Hammer Smashed Face."

Phil "Corpse Grinder" Fisher was ahead of his time.
