It is incredibly upsetting to hear him disavow it now. Just awful. And to hear him suggest that identities are not part of “kitchen table issues”.

Maybe in the 70s? My family had B&W when I was a kid and then we got a color tv. I’m in my early 50s.
I need people to really pay attention to what ones are getting publicity and why. Every name on this list is just as important. Every name deserves a riot. Nothing changes if we don't stand up for everyone, every single time.
I think this is different from the Jan 6 hearings, and more similar to the KKK ones. These hearings, like those, would focus on the impact on everyday people. That is more compelling & digestible to people who otherwise don’t pay attention.

I revered the Supreme Court for that. When I was a kid I wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice so I could right wrongs.
