Random but I have had great experiences buying second hand from Swiss Watch Expo. When I was at Georgia Tech I went to their Atlanta showroom.

Higher education will never be the same. Universities will have to re-craft entire budgets because of this. I became a doctor because I truly believe in the mission of science and discovery (and teaching!) This will have generationally bad ripple effects.
Recently had an article published in Work & Stress! In it, we study stressors, energy, and sleep in sole working moms. We found different effects at the daily and between-person levels. I'd tag my co-authors but they're not on bluesky yet 😭 Check it out!

OSHA immediately reduced workplace deaths by 2/3rds. The class divide in the country has grown so large that we really have people out here saying "idk, do we care about workplace safety?" because they and their children don't work, especially not a hazardous job.
