I watched the video on this deck. Never wanted something so bad in my life.

I spent so much time playing that game as a young kid. I stayed in the shallow waters so I could fight the smaller sharks for conch shells.
This year's mood so far
I'm about to start hosting an IRC server, swear to god

So they still have the barricades up? Were they manned overnight?
Thanks for the reporting. It's been hard to find up to date info from the protest sites.
Two posts from the official Minneapolis Threads account. Original post from 24 hours ago: "We commend those demonstrating peacefully right now. To ensure the safety of residents, the City is putting in place a vehicle perimeter in the area surrounding the scene of today's fatal shooting by federal agents. The zone includes Franklin Ave to 28th St, 35W to Pillsbury Ave" Quote reply from 8 hours ago: The vehicle perimeter surrounding 26th St. W and Nicollet Ave has been lifted β roads are back open to traffic and National Guard assignments have ended. Streets need to be clear for emergency vehicles to get through if needed. Activity overnight was calm and peaceful. Account was mplsgov on Threads
Looks like all the street barricades in Minneapolis IVO 26th street had to come down.
centrism is over, rest in piss

Minneapolis is calling for extending the general strike
"No, please don't pull the 'grab them by the profits' lever, PLEASE" - 60+ MN based companies.
Wow, having a general strike where your HQ is must be bad for business.
Status Coup is live at the Minneapolis rally/march. A US Army veteran just gave his account of what he saw from the Donut place.

They're calling to expand the strike.
"No more Minnesota nice, Minneapolis will strike"
Right on, I'll give that a go later. I wish I had a job writing so I could get more use out of my older machines. Some of those things are a joy to type on.
Protesters have erected barricades in Minneapolis. The protests haven't stopped since ICE killed Alex Pretti.
Here's a livestream that's been up for about 12 hours. It's worth scrubbing through to see what's happened.
It's not clear when, or if, they'll go home.

Huge scandal that Minneapolis has been crawling with terrorists this whole time. They've been living among us undercover as poets and nurses. And would've continued to, had it not been for the work of our bravest child kidnappers
remember, as bad as things are: it's your duty to survive if you can. be fucked up if you gave up while others gave their lives to protect you. if you can't do it for yourself, then realize you owe everyone martyred now and into the future to carry on. because not everyone is going to make it.
Do you have the driver disk for it? I have one as well, but I don't have any WinXP NIC drivers or other tools. Can't seem to find them in english on the internet archive, either.
Primaries for senators
What's the difference between today and 40 days ago? Not a damn thing.
I legitimately feel like Democrats just fumbled at the 10 yard line.
Man, I had hope. Like real hope, that they reached in their pants and found accountability. I slept better this week.
It really is a big club, isn't it?
I don't have a chromecast hooked up to mine, but I do have it branched into my computer for input and output. I use a passive stereo mixer, but I feed the tape deck into the output and use the inputs for a speaker, another deck, and my computer input.
I fuckin love tapes. Sure, they wear out, but no one can copyright claim my recordings. Just recently bought a 70's deck to write to commercial tapes that I get from the book tower (a lot of language and children's tapes). My main deck is a Marantz from about the same time as your deck.
They make e-ink android tablets as well. Good for reading, and you can pick your reading app.
