African wild dog (Lycaon pictus) with kahalari devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens, the national flower of Botswana, where most of the wild dog population lives) πΈ they're sadly very endangered with only about 6,000 individuals remaining, but i'm still dreaming of seeing one in the wild someday!

happy make a terrible comic day!!! i haven't stopped thinking about this tumblr post since i saw it. in 2018 a common merganser was spotted with 76 (SEVENTY SIX!!!) chicks!! that's SOOOO many baby. so much success.
