Minister was told by X that it couldn’t speak for Grok as a standalone app… but “nudifying” on X is to be worldwide.
I understand Smyth told X that under Coco’s Law; the 98 Act and other legislation, the platform can and will be held to account pending outcomes
He did say Apple & Google should remove it from app stores.
He also said the Govt wouldn’t give “kneejerk” response by immediately coming off X, saying other platforms have issues too.
I interjected to say those other platforms don’t generate CSAM.
He accepts that but said other issues exist.

It's about the morals of Big Tech and billionaires with riches and power beyond limit - but just far broader than that how far are government and authorities here and around the world willing to let them go.
