A picture book “Caring” featuring a welcoming tree stump and a boy planting a sapling.
The afternoon librarian gets me! This book was donated yesterday and she saved it after processing in case I hadn’t had a chance to read it yet!

For the life of me, I can't figure out why @governor.ca.gov , who is supposed to be green, pro-environment, blah blah blah is cool with scores of dogs being killed in shelters and all the carbon that creates. Thousands a month in California.
It's obscene.
A moral and environmental crisis.
