Same in DC, as of last week. My realization went something like: "What the heck, no eggs? What is there some kind of bird flu? Oh.. there's some kind of bird flu."

UMD's IRB office so fricking good. It's one of the things I highlight when recruiting new faculty. They're so fast, informative, and thoughtful. It can feel like a necessary evil at some institutions, but I genuinely feel like UMD's IRB make my research better.
