Oh, the memories! I felt the same way when I went through the Shay lessons a couple years ago. Stick with it and put every sentence of it into your Anki! A surprising amount of juniors lack the fundamentals - but having a strong foundation will give you an edge when you move into frameworks!
I am loving it! The OG is a core part of my childhood. While Rebirth is not perfect, its highs are SO, SO high that it is easily in my top 3 games of all time.

Well said! Spiritfarer is so good (though I admit I haven't finished it quite yet). Games can absolutely be art, and I can attribute some of the best parts of my personality in part to my experiences with profound moments in games.

I've been working with React DOM for years now, but only this past weekend decided to dip my toes into Native.
Played a bit with the React Native framework Expo, built the tutorial app, and really digging the DX so far.

You totally should! "Strange kind of magic" is spot on. There's some element of fantasy/folklorish magic to much of Miyazaki's work, but Mononoke's hits me on another level.

Really enjoyed it! Was happy to see that Miyazaki brand of fantasy again after the unusually grounded (but excellent!) The Wind Rises.

When I joined my current company, I was given the option to use my personal GitHub account or to make a new one just for work. I opted for the 2nd option - separation of concerns and whatnot - but kinda regret it?
