These games that defined my childhood havent changed and that magic is still there, but its also a reminder of our growth as people. We don't see in the same lense as our child selves did. The frigate level that felt expansive and so intricate is now just a few simple hallways

Playing goldeneye again has been such a treat. When I was a kid, I'd find the most out of the box ways to finish a level or just fuck around with cheats. I remember doing runway and camping out by the doors with the tank just to screw around with the paintball cheat

Recently got NSO expansion pass just for old n64 games. I have the controller and everything just to relive my childhood. It's easy to forget the ways youd flip the camera around and just stare in awe at even the simplest games in your youth. It's such a beautiful thing ❤️
