Season 2 has very big shoes to fill as the final act introduced new mysteries, characters and seemingly swept others under the rug just in case a contract does not work out.

well, with relatable themes for the every man existing in a world where money dictates on how attractive you are in a literal sense in the 3rd act. However the series doesn't really do much to sell these themes until the finale. Where if you were not paying attention you will be gagged.

Unfortunately Murphy still doesn't understand how to write women. Isabella Rossellini carries every scene through sheer aura even when her lines are totally subpar for what she is serving. This is what its like to eat a Gucci version of a big mac.
The mid:
Act 3 really struggles to know if it will have a season 2 or if they will wrap it up. There are many moments to wrap up most plots with little meat but they leave much in the mystery box or on the cutting room floor.
The good:
Best acting I've seen in one of these shows across all roles. The premise is really goofy on paper, but the actors sell even the goofiest of lines. The body horror is fantastic, and the themes stand out clear enough where if you had it on in the background you know what is going on.
