The directive is the start of a broader shake-up at NIAID, which has long been attacked by Republicans.

Marburg virus outbreak in Tanzania: MSF responds MSF is reinforcing case management capacities and implementing infection prevention and control measures in partnership with health authorities.

Marburg outbreaks need rapid detection, isolation, contact tracing, and infection control. With MSF, WHO, and the Tanzanian MoH involved, 2 deaths, 8 probable deaths, 64 suspected cases, and 281 contacts are being monitored to contain the spread.
