Single-elimination games in hockey are such heartbreaks.
Go Canada but maaaaaaan these games are wild. So much on the line in one game, which breaks down to one or two major moments. #MilanoCortina #Olympics #Canada
These CBC ads are ridiculous. How you gonna cut to commercial in the middle of some of the key parts?!?!?! #MilanoCortina2026
Everyone pause everything, the Olympics are on! #MilanoCortina2026
Dear university administrators, politicians of good will, and the general public, we need the field of religious studies more now than we have ever.
Unlike me (tin-eared about everything BUT sarcasm), I'm sure you're great!
Echoing your hopes.
Ha, not sure if the sarcasm came through! Apologies, prof. I'm not moving back! π
I would love to meet too! I'm originally from edm and grew up hearing good things about King's.
Confirmed, I'm moving back to Edm!
Make sure you follow it up with the following also:
"When is that due?" I don't know.
"Where is this on the syllabus?" I don't know.
"Where on earth am I and will there ever be a light at the end of this tunnel?" I don't know.
Careful, I might sign up for a class with you if you keep going!
If a prof doesn't say, "I don't know," at least once a class, I don't trust em.
Would I have picked this up the first time? Probably not. But when the ad runs literally EVERY commercial break, I am telling you I'm feeeeeeeeeeeling it.
#OldManContinuestoYellAtCloud
FOLKS, I am TELLING YOU. Someone WROTE this for TV. Someone who gets PAID to write professionally wrote a line with a character saying, "My name is special agent [...]." A PROFESSIONAL did this type of work!
I pray we all find that kind of a soft, gracious landing to do our thing at some point.
This is the energy, the fortitude, and the strength I strive to live my life with. Hats off to your dad.
WHY IS NUGE NOT THE AFTER HOURS GUEST ON THE EVE OF HIS ONE THOUSANDTH GAME?!
(The old man yelled.)
This is very old man of me and I know
βMy name is Special Agent Rebecca Henderson,β she said for the 10000th time today.
Really? Your name is Special Agent?!
#HockeyDayinCanada commercials running over and over on sp*rtsnet+ are driving me nutso.
Literally a publication for eight-year olds 40 years ago
I AM ONCE AGAIN LETTING YOU KNOW RYAN NUGENT-HOPKINS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER IN THE NHL AND SHOULD BE ON #TEAMCANADA
βIf you're not being invited to things, you're not being out there,β he says. βIsolation is really the enemy of the dementia journey.β
Such a beautiful, dignified, caring idea. #dementia

Too much talk about reconciliation without talk about truth-telling, everywhere.
I would like to humbly submit #GehennaforMcKenna as this yearβs NHL tank slogan for the 1st overall pick. #NHLDraft
This and a bunch of rando socials comments and posts I've been seeing + just some of my general interactions from the past month or so all informed this tweet.
And Canadian politicians remain laser focused on new pipelines. Make it make sense.
Praying for and thinking of all Queer, Menno, POC Jesus followers today, esp in light of the headlines outta Anabaptist-land this week.
Answers are needed sometimes, truly... but I think it's important to interrogate our need for resolution.
Is the answer truly a breakthrough? Or is it because we need to resolve the tension with our preexisting boxes?
/End reflections on class today
I think, when tough bible/theology questions come up in a class, it's also a way to sort through which students are ready to live with hard questions & tough feelings & truly *wrestle* vs. which students need to speak up to give answers they feel *are it* to resolve the difficulty to fit paradigms.
Resisting the urge to give simple, easy, basic answers to stifle difficult feelings in a class of 25, where you know many want to resolve a tension, is tough.
Doing it in a way that doesn't bypass and instead acknowledges difficulty and which communicates genuine and earnest past study is an art.
