I've been meaning to post an update here for a while, and never got around to it until now. I've still been working on Any% KPDR, but basically took June off due to an eye infection. It's cleared up enough to be doing runs again, and yesterday, I somehow managed to PB in spite of slow/slow Phantoon.

Massive step forward! 23 secs cut from my prior best, and only my 12th completion to boot. Still got a lot of work to do, but so far, really pleased with my progress on the path to 42.

Decent first half, gross second half, but a good step forward nonetheless, especially since this is only my 8th completed run of this Any% route.
I should be streaming more attempts this weekend, and then frequently throughout the first half of May, life permitting.

I've been working on Any%, the KPDR route ("old route"), for the past six weeks, and have finally forced myself into doing attempts. I'm a special snowflake in that I've never done runs of KPDR before, the category/route most runners start with, but I thought it'd be fun to try now.
Defeat
With this, I'm done with NG+ indefinitely. Currently working on learning Any% KPDR (goal: 42), streaming every Wednesday and Thursday.
Hoping to start runs early next month, but given that I've never done this route before, it might take me a bit longer to feel comfortable with everything.

Are there areas that are crudely blocked off by yellow tape or flimsy "barricades" that you should logically be able to surpass with mild effort? Or is it stuff like switches and actual objects?
I only do that if I'm feeling super frigid or sickly. Otherwise, gotta let them toes breathe. Can't be binding 'em 24/7.

Thank you so much! It's been a fun month, for sure. This run was beyond timely, as I had even said this would be my last attempt before moving on to another category. I'd dare say this is my strongest SM run at the moment. Definitely wasn't perfect, but I can still happily retire from NG+ now. 😊

I'm gonna give it another stream session, maybe a few more, to see if I can improve this at all further. But if unsuccessful, I'm still okay with this current run for the most part. I can always come back later and go for 23.
Made a slight improvement to NG+, potentially for the last time (for now). I missed spikesuit and had a sloppy escape, but was otherwise pretty good.
