It’s fundamentally because it’s just tracking the two lights in the bar, right? You can apparently even just use two wax candles. The main advantage of Dolphinbar is that it integrated the Bluetooth receiver, which was a bigger deal 10+ years ago when it first came out.
Going to this tonight, can’t wait
This is a good watch if you’re looking to find a silver lining. There’s a massive generational split in the Reform membership, with younger people being far less concerned about immigration.

There is now a playable demo of Tomb Raider II for Saturn. This always felt like a game that was supposed to come to Saturn but didn’t, so it’s nice to see.
Trying to resist the deluxe upgrade for Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 but I’m such a sucker for classic soundtrack swaps.
This feels like the righting of a gaming wrong, great stuff.
PC is my main, but got this too. Breaking my ‘no game key card’ rule just this once.
By-election result in full. Worrying that Reform go so much but it seems to entirely from the Tories. Labour voters switched to Green.
Most reassuring is Green’s gain in the vote share is similar to the amount Labour lost, suggesting Labour didn’t lose many to Reform. Tories on 1.9% suggests the Reform really are just taking the Tory vote.

A rare piece of political good news

To my ears, ‘it’s the shit’ doesn’t sound like a good thing just by having ‘the’ added. Also, ‘it’s bollocks’ vs ‘it’s the dog’s bollocks’. It’s suddenly good because they’re of a dog?
It’s up as of an hour or two ago!
*aged
There’s been a narrative over recent years that the whole PS1/N64/Saturn generation has aged poorly, but as someone who recently picked up a MiSTer to play PS1/N64/Saturn games, they play great still. I think people have a preconceived notion that they’ve damaged poorly and don’t challenge this.
Nice thanks, I’ll go with the non-Plus then - £10 is a lot for mutes with the earplugs are only £29.99 anyway!
There’s the Plus variant of these that comes with mutes for £10 more. I’m thinking I don’t need those but what do you think?
I’ve been going to a lot of metal gigs recently and decided to get some earplugs before I destroy my hearing. I gather they largely don’t effect they sound quality.
I’m looking at these, though does anyone have any recommend for metal in particular?

I miss same day redelivery so much, missing a parcel in the UK is so much more annoying because I have to wait another day.
02:39 on scenario B
Yeah, I played an awful lot of Pokémon Blue on its original release but played relatively little of the GBA remakes. So it not have those originals here means there’s much less nostalgia for me.
1994 Ridge Racer is £14.99 while Pokémon is £16.99. So it depends what it’s being compared against.
Not to defend the Pokémon GBA game pricing, but the Hamster releases of 32-bit era games are similarly priced.
Wow it works!
I’m thinking I can install the old OG Resident Evil 4 adaptation to this.
Recently found my old iPod Touch 4th gen and finally got a 30 pin cable to charge it. It’s basically a time capsule as it’s not been updated from 6.1 (and I shall not be updating). The App Store does not work but it is jailbroken so I’m hoping I can install some period correct games.
Ah says a lot that I’ve never noticed! On balance I think the HD is the best version playable on a modern platform. I have the PS3 version on my Legion Go S and it runs perfectly (runs perfectly on a Steam Deck too).
It mostly doesn’t matter. The worst one is the PS2 version (which is the one on PS4/5 PSN) because it has way overdone motion blur (and not the good kind), but even that is fine if that’s all you have access to. The HD version is just increased resolution with no other enhancements.
