DON'T GO BREAKING MY CODE!
Selfie of Sam who looks VERY TIRED but happy
Good morning Stockholm!
Today will be an amazing day π΅π€π¦
Okay, memorising large chunks of my talks is still the hardest and least liked part of preparation (one might have to do with the other)
Good thing I can't really do anything else while waiting at the airport.
When βHeroesβ of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion FINALLY Show Their True Colors
I know some folx are surprised to see David Heinemeier Hansson (DHH) publicly sharing statements that mirror the rhetoric of white nationalism. I am not. The writing has been on the wall for years.
The year is 2025, and some folks still take this to mean I advocate doing no up-front design thinking at all.
* sigh *

Musical singers on stage
Big win:
last year, I managed to create and direct a testing/tech-musical with 7 singers from all over the world and with all levels of singing expertise (from absolute novice to trained classical singer)
Why repeat the things you already created when you can create something new instead?
My dear friend @pejgan.se will soon be giving our Musical-Keynote again - but with new content.
I'm so looking forward to Stockholm and Bilbao!
First tiny and unfinished bit of the "The Owl Problem- Director's Cut" is online.
We had some technical problems during the show with the sound and way less video material than I hoped for, but I hope there will still be enough folks who can enjoy this.

It's fascinating watching developers discover they get better results using "A.I." if they prompt with tests, work in small steps, test continuously, review and refactor throughout, integrate often, and work in smaller teams, and attributing those results to autocomplete.
same for me
Thank you so much, Mirela! π«Άπ»
Yes, I totally love it!
When deep knowledge goes together with a native acting talent the result is the best keynote I ever seen:Trouble in The Old Republic.
Congratulations @developer-sam.bsky.social: what you have done today at #apexconn25 was a real show with so much truth in it and with meaningful message.

Sorry, didn't log into bsky for a while.
There are no further sessions planned at the moment, but if there is enough interest I could do another run.
Were you more interested in the beginners or the advanced session? (while using similar techniques, they are quite different in style)
I deliberately started to *not* listen to an audio book or podcast while doing my morning walks with the dog.
Allows my thoughts to flow freely.
It's been amazing.
