We spoke about all of the things that made it daft (stronger, safer, better off) during the campaign and were badged as βproject fearβ by people whoβve since been proven to be liars and charlatans. Most of this was predictable, and predicted. Weaker, riskier, poorer.

I havenβt seen evidence of alcohol firms funding disingenuous research to say their product is healthy etc (in fact, Iβve seen the opposite in organisations like Portman). Iβm very happy to be corrected though - alcohol isnβt one Iβve looked at in detail.
Iβm not convinced itβs the same thing. We donβt do tobacco because the big tobacco firms spent years and millions of dollars downplaying the risk whilst people died. We also donβt believe the firms who claim they want βa smoke free futureβ whilst peddling cigarettes to the developing world.
