Good! I'm happily surprised it's happening so soon. I thought this would drag through the courts for months.

Kids clothing is brutal when they’re in that tween stage.
The Kid turns 11 in January, he’s not a teen but he’s too old for, like, Bluey pajamas, and shopping seems like a trap at all times.

How disappointing. Couldn't schools teach at least one book from the 21st century? I read all but one of these in the 1990s. One thing I have looked forward to as a parent is reading new school books with my son, not having "The Great Gatsby" forced on me AGAIN. (I read it twice. Despised it twice.)
We've seen so many painful, sad stories out of the Camp Mystic tragedy. Something about this one, heavy with the voice of a brave 14-year-old named Amelia Moore, really got to me, though. Kudos also to my WSJ colleagues for the writing and the presentation. www.wsj.com/articles/cam...

I wasn’t much into the first Red Sox City Connects - I appreciate the Marathon connection, but I’m not a yellow fan in general - but these green ones are 🔥🔥🔥. Time to start saving for a shirt.
I went on a tour of Reading Terminal Market Thursday (100% recommend; $25 for 45 minutes of tidbits and snacks). Our guide told us about the contest behind the blueberry muffin cookie at Famous 4th Street Cookie. I researched the baker, and what a neat story!

I’ve mused about whether Pope Leo XIV will remain an American citizen and whether he can vote in U.S. elections. One thing that didn’t cross my mind but should have: Will he still have to file taxes?
