Good: Control board replaced! Tech prorated labor and accepted 1/2 payment now, rest later. Needed too! Back of board was scorched black!
Bad: On putting everything back together, tech checked pressure switches. Rusty red water dripped out of one. Corroded. Needs replaced, too

Our furnace has died and is in need of replacement during one of the coldest periods of the winter. On top of that, the recent windstorms have pulled up a portion of our roof, exposing it to the elements, a whole through which we are losing heat. Our priority first is repairing/replacing the furnace
TL;DR: Furnace died during a sub-zero spell; needs an expensive part just to get it going again; has enough broken/breaking that it requires replacement. Unable to obtain financing, don't have funds to replace
