Huh… weird to finally root for the Nintendo Lawyers.
Get ‘em!

My place was also hit hard by the rain during Christmas Eve. By the time the damage was finally cleared up, the new storms started the process all over again.
I remember being excited by the rain. Now I’d rather just play that David Cage game, and that’s saying something!
We don’t really need to rank Resident Evil games, but why not. Here are the games I’ve played though completion
RE4 (Both Versions) > RE1R > RE2R > RE7 > RE2 > RE9 > RE1 > RE8 > RE3 > Rev2 > RE5 > Rev1 > RE3R > RE0 > RE6
For what it’s worth, I still think 6 is a stupid fun time with friends
This is disturbing. I don’t see how anyone could support this kind of shit. It’s beyond parody. It’s just cruel and incredibly unnecessary.
Loved this video. After watching, I actually messed around with some of the older mercs modes just to try some of the ones I missed.
Here’s to hoping RE9 does something in this vein down the line!
I love the discourse over “The Final Puzzle” in RE9. The dummy finger era was so much fun in the lead up to RE7, it’s cool to see something like that again.
15. Resident Evil Requiem
Not gonna rate this yet since I feel like I need to do a few more playthroughs but I really liked it. Very interesting mashup of the different styles of Resident Evil.
Not gonna lie, I’m a bit lost on some of the story, but hey, I had a great time with both characters
It just feels so much fun parrying, and evading attacks. This game makes you feel really cool, and I love that. 10+ playthroughs in and I’m still having fun.
14. Resident Evil 4 (2023) (5/5)
One of the best remakes ever made. It expands upon the original, but doesn’t invalidate it at all. Anything it removes, it adds an equally interesting thing in its place. Separate Ways gets a great update too.

Oh I will. Can’t wait!
13. Resident Evil (1996) (4/5)
While I’ll always prefer the Remake, the original game has some of the best atmosphere I have experienced in horror. I love the music, the cheesy dialogue and the fantastic pre-rendered backgrounds. That intro man *chef’s kiss*

12. Resident Evil 3 (3/5)
A good game, just not a great remake. It unfortunately took out some of my favorite mechanics and locations from the original. Some neat ideas though! Cool opening and hype ending.

11. Resident Evil 0 (2.5/5)
It's a beautiful looking game that tried something experimental which I respect. Sounds great too! But... it is also one of the most tedious games I have played. I don't mind inventory management in survival horror, but this is just egregious...

Top 10 for funsies. This is what I am feeling today, probably would change day to day.
10. EoW
9. SS
8. ALttP
7. MM
6. TWW
5. TP
4. ALBW
3. BotW
2. TotK
1. OoT
Happy 40th!
10. Resident Evil 2 (2019) (4.5/5)
If you change the music to the original game’s soundtrack, this game is nearly perfect. Mr. X is my favorite persistent enemy. I absolutely love how replayable the game is. I wish the “zapping” system...

I get that.
Part of me hopes they will do some event/mystery gift stuff like they did with Crystal on the 3DS virtual console. That plus Home support would make the price way easier to swallow for some I bet. That would turn a ROM into essentially DLC for the modern Pokemon games.
This wasn’t cheap! People should be able to have official access to these games, and there are fine enough options to pursue if the price is too high. $20 seems super reasonable to me, and it’s nice to not have it tied to a subscription service
I mean c’mon. We dropped $200ish on Emerald, and somewhere around that for the GameCube ones
Maybe I’m the outlier here, but as someone who has been spending the last couple years completing my wife’s physical Pokemon game collection, I don’t think $20 is a bad ask.
I wish I could have spent that on some of these games. It’s nice to have an official option that isn’t stupidly expensive.
Resident Evil stuff? Weird ports? Co-op stuff?
What Bluepoint accomplished over the years was incredible. Such a big loss
BREAKING: PlayStation is shutting down Bluepoint Games, the studio responsible for modern remakes of classic games such as Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, Bloomberg News has learned.
A shocking end for a well-respected studio.
I won’t have too much time to mess with it this week, but look at this stupid thing. I love it.
It’s much bigger than I expected it to be, but granted I’ve never been fortunate enough to have my eyes seared by an original Virtual Boy
9. Resident Evil 6 (2/5)
In an alternate universe, this game’s realized ambition made it one of best games ever made. We do not live in this universe.
Still, play it in co-op with a friend you like to laugh with and you’ll have a decent time.

Yeah. This is pretty much the MGS4 experience
I’m jealous. Seeing NIN live is on my bucket list
Either they are planning a volume 3, or they will drip feed some news about bonus stuff before launch is my guess. I can imagine something like Portable Ops being added
I’m actually somewhat surprised that MGS4 would run on a Switch 1.
Finally though, it’s free. The last PS3 exclusive game that I care about
Oh lawd it’s coming. After a lifetime of wanting to try the virtual boy, well, I’ll get close enough soon.
This one is a bit old, and nowhere near my messiest timeline, but my favorite picture because of my editing friend.
I’d have to dig through some project files to find the REAL shit.
