Is it Christmas already?
Warm up before TTRPG weekend - ran a longer session of Itras By with amazing players. Best scene? Cod dinner with the dead family of one of the characters.
Awesome! Next project - paper machΓ©? Takes more time but so much fun.
I just started exploring solo games to widen my TTRPG horizon and stumbled upon your blogposts. Thanks for sharing.
I think her taste in TTRPGs is quite mainstream. Sorryβ¦
Looks really great with the retro screen effect
Exciting!! Itras By has stuck with me for a long time. Love the improv + weird and surreal. Actually playing it again this sunday. First time in many years.
I love them! Hope to see it as a physical product!
Maybe get some proper Nordic Horror vibes. The fact that some houses might be 2-300 years old and with heritage back into Viking age will make Escondido Street a bit different. Also, the town was a hotspot for World War 2 action (it was bombed) and used to be a wealthy lumbering town.
Next weekends Public Access game (my first session) will be set in a remote town in the dark forests of Norway. The location has all great ingredients youβll need to run mysteries. Found that contemporary games with locations and familiar cultural references hits so much harder.
Like it a lot! Really captures the feeling of marvelling at some ancient wonder you stumbled upon while adventuring
Doing my first Public Access game next weekend. Can't wait to get my hand on it in a hardcover and see the new version. Great how you've captured the retro/nostalgia feel.
With such a title I couldnβt resist it. Great morning read! Thnx
As long as thereβs a chart about where a game is on the improv scale, Iβll read it π
Rolemaster with MERP modules. Play your own adventures in Tolkiens world. Open ended d100 rolls and the possibility of a magical 66 roll for amazing criticals! But, far too many tables for everything. It was so slow to play. 40 years later Iβm mostly rules light and story heavyβ¦ Table traumas
Sounds like a great combo!!
Very excited to test it
Looks really good!
Hoping to play it next weekend. How did you like it?
Nothing speaks βrules lightβ better than toddler friendly rule books!! It looks awesome. Great idea
Prepping for βGreetings, Travellerβ - Public Access mystery. Working on handout - Vintage flyer for TTRPG gaming group. Digital Drawing.
Got an upcoming TTRPG weekend ahead of me. Three Days in remote cabin. Hoping to play most of these:
- The Job
- Public Access
- Everyone is John
- The Queen
- Tacklebox
- Knight Forloren
- Cowboys With Big Hearts
- Mothership
- The Skeletons
Think we can squeeze in 1 more?
Its a ninja move. Got an upcoming oneshot playing Public Access for the first time. Was unsure about pacing but watching a couple of your videos I have no doubt I can pull it off. Thanks! Hopefully this will tease my players into playing it as a campaign.
Quinns Quest effect!
Testing narrator tool setup
Second go at #Mothership yesterday. Played Dead Planet and Tyrant Moon. Good fun! Also first real test of the narrator tool I've built in #Svelte. Back to the drawing board for better UX but it worked better than any other setup I've tried.
Itβs powerful!
So cute, weird and fun! Surpised all the wargamers at Alphabar in Sthlm by setting up our "boat" beside them!
if you often get story cravings when meeting fellow gamers at pubs or cafes, bring a gamebag. Mine contains βBetter Strangersβ and βTackleboxβ by @possibleworlds.bsky.social for a quick fix, βKnight Forlorenβ by @blackfiskpub.bsky.social when I need something more filling. Whats in your?
