I have been playing an obscene amount of Resident Evil Requiem.
The game has a parry mechanic. My free time was doomed from the start.

Even though Europe/Australia were the last places to get the system, they made up for it by releasing some killer bundles with amazing box art including Ocarina of Time, Pokemon, Perfect Dark, Banjo and MANY more!

I can hear this picture.
The 8BitDo hall-effect drop in stick is your best bet unless you are rebuilding the original stick with replacement parts. The stick values are the closest I've seen to OEM.
It even has the GameCube style thumbstick.
I have a few of those lying around the shop and they are not great. Super stiff, and sensitivity is wack.
They are generally cheap, so there is that.
I've repaired 100s of N64 joysticks. If you want some alternative recommendations I'm happy to help!
What replacements did you go with?
Who needs a Switch when you have one of these bad boys!
