The Android Bluesky app is really buggy. Various feeds, including your personal profile page, freeze (even after quitting and restarting the app, my profile currently won't scroll), it's not always easy to share media or links, and it's generally pretty crappy overall.
I get why CBC is broadcasting Trump 's State of the Union address, but since it's probably more than 2 hours long, why on earth do they feel compelled to do an hour-long pre-show? Apparently they don't think we're subjected to enough of Cheeto Mussolini as it is.

We have a small portable AC unit that we usually put in our bedroom when we're sleeping. Our place will probably be pretty cool in the summer, but that's still to be determined, depending on what kind of summer we have, of course.
The main floor one is rated for about 600 sf and the upstairs ones about 300 each.
We have three Honeywell purifiers with HEPA filtration and charcoal pre-filters, and the large one on the main floor has a VOC indicator. Very glad we have them as I wouldn't want to breathe in the dirt I see when we change the filters.

Hot on the heels of deleting my Instagram account, I've done the same to Facebook after being off it much longer than IG. The only Meta account I still have is WhatsApp and we use that for cross-platform (iOS / Android) family chats. I'm OK with limiting my exposure to that.

When I lost my spleen I had nearly been killed due to several life-threatening injuries, because of a careless driver. Silly me thinking that might have made me a higher priority for the hernia repair.
It shouldn’t just be Ukraine withdrawing from Paralympics. Everyone should withdraw.
My diagnosis came from the surgeon who will be doing the procedure, so you'd think it would be quicker than a year. That surgeon does 90% of all hernias within 55 weeks, but since I have not even been notified of a date, I can't imagine it's going to happen within the next 3 weeks.
It's been exactly a year since I had the hernia caused by my splenectomy diagnosed. Just in case you want to know what the waiting list for "elective" surgery is like on the island. Nothing about the impact it's had on me makes it "elective" in my mind, but it isn't life threatening so ....
