I rode some trails in KS, Wilson Lake(Wilson) and Clinton Lake(Lawrence). Coming from Colorado, I did not have to grind my usual sustained climbs, but the short punchy sections with rugged limestone and roots woke me the hell up quickly! I will check out these trails in the article next time!
