Yes, you should have to pay to park in Golden Gate Park San Franciscans are used to a high standard when it comes to their parks. That’s about to change unless the department can scrape together funds, fast.

If you want to bring your 4 wheeled air conditioned living room into our city's flagship park you absolutely should have to goddamn pay to do so.

SF Is Struggling to Reduce Traffic Deaths. Slow Streets Could Be an Answer | KQED A new analysis of San Francisco’s Slow Streets network shows a 61% decline in injury collisions and only a minor impact on Fire Department response times.

🚨 New Data Analysis: San Francisco's Slow Streets have reduced vehicle crashes by 61% over the past 2 years compared to a 5% increase citywide AND they've had a trivial impact on emergency response times, despite the fire department vehemently opposing them.

NYC Congestion Zone Live Crash Tracker Since January 1st, 2024 2,617 people have been injured by motor vehicles and 15 have been killed.

Unfortunately, this is not true & only looks at 18 days of data. In the 45 days prior to 1/5/24 there were 471 crashes in the CRZ that injured 211 people.

In the 45 days since 1/5/24 there have been 441 crashes that injured 186 ppl, which is a ~12% drop in injuries.

Ocean Beach Park Economic & Public Safety Impact Analysis An Analysis of the Economic & Public Safety Impacts of Converting San Francisco's Great Highway into an Oceanfront Park

Our analysis looked at city data & eight case studies where waterfront roadways & industrial areas were converted into public parks.

In every case, these conversions generated an economic windfall for local businesses.
