& btw if you're asking for liberal votes/support/trust, here's a hack - it's basically that

Every stage of this process - his arrest, spending a year in jail, being dumped on the streets to die - would be deeply shameful in a society that actually valued human life.

Actual royals get a pass *i guess* even though it’s a silly institution. But if I met someone that referred to themselves with some sort of noble title that wasn’t at least recognized by law I would think less of them.
Do Europeans think it’s lame when people claim/refer to themselves with noble titles that have been abolished? It strikes me as an incredibly lame thing to do.
