Congrats to you, Ricki & the publishing team. Really looking forward to the physical release on March 2nd!
Another Ultimate Elite build. Wasn't sure about the black case, but I reckon it looks pretty schmick with the gold badges.
I love the Elite boards. Saddened Gideon is no longer making them.
Manufactured in China, not made in China.
It means it's no longer possible to make a faithful replica board. They've produced hundreds of these boards for others and hadn't bat an eyelid. This seems political and I'm sick of the state of the world right now.
Audit failure from JLPCB engineering because gerbers state Made In Japan. They claim to only support "Made In China".
Have always preferred JLCPCB over PCBWay, but now they can honestly get effed.
Just modded my Neo Geo Pocket with a backlit IPS screen. Looking superb!
Ordinarily I dont like modding original gear, but in this case my old eyes were really struggling with the original non backlit screen. This makes it so much more usable. Hopefully battery life remains reasonable.
Ran over many with the lawnmower. Just got to make sure your mouth is closed so you dont inhale the white cloud.
That would be Unix epoch time. I'm guessing it's the default value for a database column if not explicitly set.
Surfboard on a stand. Nice!
Poetry in motion.
Great timing! I arrived in Osaka today and it just so happens I'm headed to Namba tomorrow. I can add this to my hit list, along with some stores in Nipponbashi. Thank you!

Mural across the road from Takadanobaba station, Tokyo. Astro Boy!
Astro Boy photographed in shop window of store in Takadanobaba, Tokyo. The birth place of Astro Boy.
Family trip to Japan. We ended up staying in Takadanobaba, the birth place of Astro Boy. The train stations jingle is the Astro Boy theme song, and I spotted this in a store window. I'd long forgotten about Astro Boy, but I watched it religiously after school every day in the 80s. Happier times!
My daughter & I played Bubble Bobble to completion (MiSTer hooked up to 75" TV). She died just before we killed the big boss at the end, but I made it. We'll have to replay so we both finish.
Butter and anything. You can't have toast or sandwiches without butter!
Ben Eater hooks a 6581 SID up to his 6502 computer and plays Rob Hubbard's "Monty On The Run" (at 60Hz for those US folk).

I think the problem is that there wasn't really an ending. Although I've been told if you sit through ending credits with subtitles enabled, there actually was an ending & you'll see it.
Oh for sure. There's some pretty strange individuals out there though.
May have something to do with this, I suspect.

Started around the same time, also with Slackware. Spent near a month trying to get my PPP chat script working with local ISP, but eventually prevailed. Problem in the end was DNS. Been almost exclusively Linux desktop since early 2000's.
Anyway, it launched a career for me as Linux & Unix admin.
I hadn't realised they made people so small!
I got a Secret Labs chair for my birthday 5 or 6 years go now. It's still in daily use. Nothing broken on it yet, struts are still holding my 115kg weight. I've been suitably impressed.
The answer to life, the universe and everything.
Honouring the past. Innovating the future.
And probably not too far off locking people up for not displaying anything but praise for The Great Leader.
So, did Michelle grow up to be a Tax Collector, or did Kilobaud save her?

What, and he hasn't even got a commodore.net email address yet?
Must have a boot full of magic beans to sell.
NEW!

What to do on a rainy Saturday morning. Sit outside on the lounge drinking coffee and reading BYTE magazine, august 1982 volume 7. What a time to be alive!
