My Christmas craft for a Secret Santa Gift Exchange.
When I was pregnant, I didn’t have any fun or weird cravings. But I did have an absolute aversion to the smell of burning wood (usually a favourite smell). So I had to give up wood burning. I’m so happy to be back at it!

What did you guys think of the show Foundation? We just watched the first season. It seemed ok to me. Didn’t love it or dislike it. But not chomping at the bit to watch the second season. I actually slept through most our the last episode, so I should probably rewatch it.

It is mid-September and we still have our air conditioner set to 29C (84F). And it feels cool when we walk inside.

Came home after a long day of work to this amazing seared tuna steak feast, topped with sesame seeds, roasted garlic and a sweet/savoury homemade teriyaki sauce. Avocado, roasted eggplant and cast iron fried asparagus with rice. Made by the one and only @farfromsubtle.bsky.social!

A positive gaming update: I’ve been playing UFO: Unidentified Falling Objects and having a BLAST! It’s a simple puzzle platformer. Kinda bullet hell-like. Great sounds. So satisfying when you get a big combo. Would totally recommend it.

Does anyone else find building things in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom infuriating?! I find it zero percent fun and I’m quitting the damn game because of it. I miss the classic Zelda’s. (Even though I put hundreds of hours into Breath of the Wild.)
