Rao, @andreaslaustsen.bsky.social et al. present a chromosome-level genome assembly of the western nose-horned viper. The 1.55 Gbp assembly (contig N50 = 45.9 Mb; scaffold N50 = 210 Mb; BUSCO = 97.1%) is anchored into 18 pseudo-chromosomes.
